公开课教案 The weather tomorrow 教学设计

景山分校 朱娅莉

一.    教学内容

Module 4 Unit 2 The weather tomorrow.

二.教学目标:

1、能听、说、认读表示天气的单词:hot/ cold/sunny/rainy/snow/windy并能在日常生活中运用。

2、能理解对话中的天气预报,并能用英语做简单的天气预报。

3、能听懂、会说句型:It will …/ It will be…并能在实际情景中实际运用。

4、培养学生的注意力、观察力等综合能力,鼓励学生积极思维,挖掘学生们运用语言的创造能力。

三.教学重难点:

1、听、说、认读表示天气的单词:hot cold sunny rainy snowy windy

      2、灵活运用重点句型It will be windy in Beijing.

      3、激发学生的学习兴趣和积极思维,促使其快乐体验,成功实践。

四.教具准备:

多媒体课件一套,表示天气状况的单词小卡片和城市地名卡片。

五.教学过程:

step1. Warm up

  Sing the song <rain, rain, go away>

Step2.Introduction

1. Teach the words about the weather: hot cold sunny rainy snowy windy  

1)      Listen to the sound; let Ss guess what the weather of this sound is? To teach the word “rain”.

2)      Listen to the sound; teach the word “windy”.

3)      Look out the window; it’s sunny and very hot. Teach these two words “sunny” “hot”.

4)      T does some actions to teach the words “ hot , cold.”

5)      Review the words.

6)      Play a game: Say out the word as quickly as you see the picture.

2.Teach the signs about the weather(游戏操作,引出图标)

1)Let’s watch CAI carefully, guess the meaning of the sign.

2)Try to spell the words。

3. Learn to say the chant to consolidation the words.   

     Rain, rain, it will rain.       Snow, snow,it will snow.

Hot, hot, it will be hot.        Cold, cold, it will be cold.

    Sunny, sunny, it will be sunny.    Windy, windy, it will be windy.

Step3. Presentation

1. Show the title “The weather tomorrow”

1). Teach new word “tomorrow”

2). Listen to the tape carefully; fill in the blank in CAI, . E.g. it will be sunny inBeijing.

2. Show the city and the weather, try to say out the sentences and teach them.

3. Try to say the difference between “It will...” and “It will be...”

Step4. Practice

(Show a robot to Ss) Look, robot can tell you “the weather tomorrow.”

   2)Let’s listen to the weather report carefully.

   3) Listen again and try to follow it.

   4) Read the sentences with your partner.

   5) Read it together.

Step5. Consolidation

  1). Show the map to the Ss.Look at the map, show the places on the map to Ss.

  2). Look at the map carefully. Let’s guess what will the weather like tomorrow inBeijing?    I think it will rain. How do you think about it?

3).Students try to say with: It will… … .

4).Talk about the weather in other cities in the same way.

5).Ask the students to practice the sentences according to the screen.

Step6. Development

  Give two maps to the students, one is the map ofChina, the other is the ma ofHainanprovince.

Tell students choose one map, finish the sentences, then try to make a weather report.

Step7. Homework.

1) Teach your parents to say the six words about the weather.

2) Watch TV and listen to the weather report carefully. Try to make a weather report to your parents.
